Hi,
I am using jdbc to connect to oracle.
Its working fine when i fetch the record on a table. But its getting timedout when i fetch data from view.

Actually the tables used in the view is getting bulk update.
So is it possible to get huge delay while fetching record on view?

Regards,
Vidhyakar K

Vidhyakar,
You asked:

A database view is the result of a [SQL] query.
It can take the database several hours before returning the results of a query.
So the answer to your question is yes, it is possible to get a huge delay while fetching a record on a view.

Good Luck,
Avi.
