try to make connection to a mysql DB through a contex listener but the connection object won't get created (com.mysql.jdbc) error occurred i believe it have something to do with mysql jdbc driver libraries. i'm using tomcat,eclips & mysql 5.1
connections & statements are working fine in normal java application i use the same class then the error is occurred i'm new to serverlet please help me with this

Can you show us the error? HAve you added the required driver jar files to the classpath?
