Error at the time of importing sql_dump(MYSQL5.0 )

i am try to import sql_dump(.sql file) into my database in sqlYog

i am getting following error.the sql dump name is DDLSQL_ats.sql

is there something called DDL?.. because i already import many .sql files into DB...but this file only creating problem

Error message:
Error Code: 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '��U

You will have to find a tutorial about dumps in MySQL; there is something in "Beginning MySQL" by Sheldon and Moes (Wrox) which is a very nice book and not too expensive, but was printed in 2005 and could do with a new edition.

"DDL" is usually taken to mean Data Definition Language and means things like "CREATE TABLE", as opposed to INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE which are (I think) DML = Data Manipulation Language but I might be mistaken about the M and Manipulation.
