Without knowing anything about the technologies or locations you want it is not possible to provide detail. I'd say "good".

I'm BE + MTech (Information Technology) from RMIT University from Melbourne. I hold Australia PR. But since then I'm working in India. PR is still valid for next 3 yrs. I hold 2.5 yrs exp in C, C++, VC++ and 1 yr in non-IT as Technical Cust Support. Now a days planning to go back Australia if s/w market is good there. I'm open to go in any city like Melbourne, sydney, Brisbane, Perth etc. Now what u say chances getting job thr in current situation?

Why didnt u work there after graduating from university.?? I feel that thats usually the best way. I think the s/w industry has always been good there but what seems to be tougher is immigration, ther very picky I think.
