Hi,
I have installed J2EE(the latest version from java.sun.com) on Win 98. But when I want to run j2ee, j2eeadmin in DOS window, I always got "Bad command"?
What is wrong with it? I have heard that J2EE can be run on Win 98. But why I cannot run it?
Your help is highly appreciated!

David,
Check if you have configured the classpath correctly.
j2ee.bat requires you to set up the j2ee.jar file in the classpath, apart from the standard J2SDK classfiles.Check if they are in order.
If it is OK, then check, if you have included the current directory also, i.e. "." in your classpath.
Hope this helps,
Sandeep

Hi..
Bad command is a windows output, I think your J2EE_HOME\bin directory is not in your windows path, so it can't find the batch file, fix this in your autoexec.bat file by adding the bin directory to your windows path....

David,
I posted a response for the bad command or file name situation, "Here's why bad command appears...(WIN98)".
I hope this helps.
