How to call a EnterpriseJavaBean from a static class( on iPlanet6)

Hi everybody
i have servlet which calls a static class, from which i am trying to connect to another bean. i am using iplanet6. what r the entries u have to make in the xml deployment descriptors and how do u lookup teh bean?
