Hi mahesh,
Can u elaborate on the scenario thats causing this exception...like when u r accessing a particular method/servlet call..etc
The stack trace isnt enuff to diagnoze..and with 5.1 one sees this kind of trace for virtually many a problems.
thx

Hi Manju Thanx,
As per your query.This exception is while calling the servlet from a link.It is also giving Protocol Exception if I call the same servlet from another client(M/c).
I'm not able to fix the problem.
Thanx
Mahesh

hi,
1). oracle.netTNSAddress.SOException is because u might have given the in property file as
props=user=******;password=******;server=oracle
try this
props=user=*****;password=******
Just remove the server mapping.Also this wouldnt have caused u problems.I dont know y it should be done, but when i did the exception went off.
Hope it would help u.
Also the write exception may because u might have disabled
read/write option check ur property file

Hi Johnson ,
Thanx.It worked.I've got rid of TNSaddress.soexception.But the socket exception is still not fixed.I'm calling a servlet first them the data retrieved through the servlet is being transferred to a jsp for presentation.After generating the jsp it is trowing the above exception.But data is being seen on client side(absolutely no problem).Please help me with the same.
Thanx,
Mahesh
