j2sdkee1.2.1 setup

I have down loaded the sdk for j2ee. But now i am not able to set the class path. Whenever i try to edit userconfig.bat to set classpath. It is giving error.
Please give me details of classpath setting and enviornment setting.
I am new to j2ee so, i am expecting a detailed explanation for starting the server.

What is your platform? If you are installing it on win 98, maybe I can help.

install it on windowsNT platform,rest the installation is same as other software .Keep in mind where your jdk1.2.2 or what ever is ,our j2sdkee1.2.1 should also be there(i am talking obout the drive)
say
c:\jdk1.2.2
then
c:\j2sdkee1.2.1

at c:\j2sdkee1.2.1\doc
you will find the step by step procedure
last but not the least
you should have min 128MB ram to run effectively.
