Is there any option of querying a table(not the table for which entity bean is written) in weblogic-cmp-rdbms-jar.xml file for which the entity bean is written??

The Java Ranch has thousands of visitors every week, many with surprisingly similar names. To avoid confusion we have a naming convention, described at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp . We require names to have at least two words, separated by a space, and strongly recommend that you use your full real name. Please log in with a new name which meets the requirements.

see the definition of the finder-query element at http://www.bea.com/servers/wls600/dtd/weblogic-rdbms11-persistence-600.dtd . i think it does what you're looking for.
