Problem with websphere 4.0

I have installed sucessfully Websphere 4.0
Application server starts sucessfully
but when i try to invoke servlets from default
server browers throws HTTP 404 error
http://localhost:80/servlet/snoop
Can anybody tell me what could be the problem.
