Loading JDBC drivers

Hi out there. I just loaded personal Oracle onto my personal PC. I have the JDK 1.3.1 on the same PC. I now want to load the driver to build a connection, and have no idea how to do this. So my questions are these:
1. How do I load Oracle's driver?
2. If it were some other database, how would I find the driver?
3. Is there any benefit to loading several drivers, or is that reserved for multi-database purposes?
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks folks,
Reilly Morris
