Why is it that I cannot find any reference to applying both of these patterns at the same time... e.g., have a delegate on the client side that acts as a front to a particular session bean. Both the delegate and the session bean class realize a common interface. Naturally, the session's remote interface extends this interface.
It seems simple and reasonable, but I haven't found a single mention of the two ever being used together. Is there something wrong with that approach that I'm missing? Please enlighten....
Thanks,
David
