Thanks for the reply Afroz.
I went to the interview today. It was quick and very short. They asked me some very basic questions in core
java like exception handling,
String vs StringBuffer, Factory
pattern, MVC etc. Anybody with 3+ yrs of exp and
SCJP should not have any problems at all. They did not ask me anything about what I had done in my any previous job stints. The only thing that I could not answer properly were the HTML and
JSP stuff. I told them that I was a server side person and as such do not have much idea on the presentation layer things. But they kept stressing on the html and jsp.
So I got a bit nervous and I asked them what the position was about. I started getting the feeling it might be client development. For that the answer was "It would be decided later."
Then he asked my salary expectations. I asked them what they pay for a person with my background. The person disappeared and when he came back
he said that the HR Manager would call me tomorrow.
Does'nt all this sound a little bit funny ?
