EJB uses RMI for distributed computing.

In fact, it uses RMI over IIOP.

RMI is a method of invoking Java methods over a remote (tcp/ip) interface. EJBs methods are accessed via RMI, but the EJB architecture also supports things like built-in transaction support, resource caching, and other good stuff.


Customer surveys are for companies who didn't pay proper attention to begin with.
