Hi,
When i tried to deploy a simple stateless session bean.
The deploytool gives the following error.
"There was a deployment error
java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException
occurred in server thread; nested exception is:
java.rmi.RemoteException: Error saving/opening
please refer the log file."
when i referred the log file it said
java.util.zip.ZipException: error in opening zip file

at java.util.zip.ZipFile.<init>(ZipFile.java:112)

at com.sun.corba.ee.internal.orbutil.ThreadPool$PooledThread.run(ThreadPool.java:99)
before deploying i verified the .ear file. it ran with no error in it.
Any help would be great.
Thank you

Bhavani,
I am not sure but it seems to me that you must have left the .ear file open. also check the properties(rwx) of the ear file. I ran into similar problem try to deploy on hp-ux11
