My company is looking towards moving to a J2EE development framework consisting of JBoss + Tomcat + Apache.
Currently all our web tools are done as Perl CGI's on a Solaris box or in ASP on an NT machine. The problem I have is that all these legacy apps probably won't be wre-written from scratch in Java. I'll need to find a way for them to access and communicate with the new EJB business objects that will be residing on the J2EE server.
Has anyone done this type of thing before? Is is possible to access an EJB from a Perl script or from a VBScript ASP page?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
