Hi,
Iam not able to understand the locational transparency service of EJB. In J2EE environment we deploy the ejb jar file in the server and all EJB's reside inside the server. Is it possible to keep EJB's outside the server and still access it from servlets and other clients. With EJB's we are not specifying the ip address of servers anywhere...at the macro can anybody explain where can we see this particular feature with respect to EJB's
THanks for your time

Hi,
U use JNDI for ejb lookup. U need not know where the ejb is located but u only contact the JNDI to get the ejb thus giving u the location transparency.
