When I start J2EE server from command line by saying start J2EE it gives following output with errors
Bad command or file name
Syntax error
Syntax error
Syntax error
Java 2 Enterprise Edition Server
Options:
-verbose Redirect all logging output to the current shell.
-help Print this help message.
-version Print the version.
-stop Stop the J2EE server.
All environment variables are set fine.

i am afraid you did not set the class path right.i met the same problem before.
check the installation doc. you will find out if you are careful enough.
is it 'j2ee -verbose' you input from cmd line?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
