Hi,
I'm completely new to JBoss (and J2EE in general).
I've installed JBoss 3.0.2 and am working my way through installing the template project that is downloadable with the getting started tutorial.
I've successfully built the project and it has been deployed, but when I try to run the client application (run-client.bat)I get a javax.naming.NoInitialContextException which is presumably caused by JNDI not being set up correctly.
As I mentioned I'm new to J2EE and would like to get something running before I delve into each aspect in depth. Could anyone suggest initial settings for the template project ?
Cheers,
Jeremy.

Solved it - a classpath problem caused WinME not processing the client batch file very cleverly.
dont think that windows can process file names with a '.' in them - such as JBoss3.0.1!
Doh!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
