Hi,
There is a small issue regarding Entity bean . Entity beans are serializable but I could not find any good reason for this ads we
Can somebody help me out.

looks strange, do not know how u get this idea. I only heard that handle to EJB could be serialized.
serializableusually is used to describe the objects of some kind of class.
the Data hold by Entity beans could be persistent.
