Hi Folks,
I want to develop simple j2ee application using any application server such as weblogic 7.0. Now, my problem is that i know how to write each and every core component that make up a j2ee componet (jsp, servlet, and EJB) but how do i packaged them as one unit in ear file and deploy them in the server. How do i make my servlets access ejb components from my webservers.
Let's say i just want to write a j2ee application which just allows a user to login using form based authentication that uses jsp/servlets and the servlet just accesses the an ejb component to invoke one of the buisness method of it(just returing the string hello). How do i structure the application components.
Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated as i'm totally confused.

The scope of your question is really too wide for a single post to answer. My suggestion is to pick up a book on J2EE Development that addresses these types of issues.
Professional Java Server Programming J2EE, 1.3 Edition, ISBN - 1861005377 seems to be a good start.
or
Sun's J2EE Tutorial
Anyone else have suggestions for books that cover J2EE from a broad view?

I agree. Here's the link: http://aspose.com/file-tools
