How is Thought Works Bangalore??

Hi Fellow Ranchers,
Could you tell me how is the company Thoughtworks bangalore?
I heard that they are full of Agile Processes.

How is the pay package there?
How is the work culture over there?
Can it be counted as a Paymaster?

Do you know how many rounds of interview do they have?? How hard is it to get into it. do you have any information about it.

Post your resume on their website and they will get back to you. There will be telephonic interview first and then face-face interview. This is in US, I guess it should be same in india as well. You can find info on their website though.

They must be good pay master as in USA they are offering job with 100% travelling. Which normally many candidate doesn't like but India this may not be scenario.

If you heard of Martin Flower, he is working for the same company.

I visted their website.It is a great company. Only great guys can get in there. Not me.

Actually I got a chance to work with them while on an UK assignment last August 05. Our Clients had all thoughtworks contractors. There I was introduced to agile processes and the system of the clients had a very big architecture. But my project managers were very skeptic about Agile processes. They alway tell even now that Agile is Fragile. But in my own experience that I got from working with them I saw the whole bunch was a full dedicated team.

Once again I believe some day (may be next job) will be in thoughtworks.

In India the process invovles: they will give you a case where you need to develop code(either in C, C++ or Java) and send them for evaluation. If your code is shortlisted they will call you for interview.

I guess last year Martin Flower conducted seminars on Agile processing in Banglore & Chennai, India.

100% travelling would mean 1 week in Italy, next 2 weeks in China and then 3 weeks in Japan etc. Very few will be interested.

Apply at their website. How many years of exp do you have and what is your skillset ?

I have around 2+ Years Exp with JAVA/J2EE Technology.

But you have to be strong in design patterns and be most creative in your approache and coding style.
