Hello. Following 2 technical interviews, it seems that what is now considered J2EE has changed depending on who the person I speak to is. A while ago, the J2EE APIs were: JMS, JDBC, RMI, CORBA, JNI, JNDI, JTA. I have discovered RMI is not part of it although Java Entreprise IN a Nutshell states so but it is an older version. After a different tech interview the interviewer told me that just JMS, JNDI, JTA and EJB is still part of J2EE and not JDBC or CORBA. Does anyone know the exact ones seeing I have been told that sun still doesn't have the last out on this?? Maybe someone was confused!
