well if Ejb is used because of many reasons and one is distributable component why cant we use servlets combined with jsp instead of ejb? why are we going with a costlier environment when there is a cheaper environment such as jsp and servlets...? Many go to Ejb because of it transction handling? Any other advantage does ejb has over jsp/servlets..
You're basically asking "why use EJB's". This question is asked in this forum about once a week -- do a quick search and you'll find many instances of it. One place to find out some of the reasons is here. Kyle
