well if Ejb is used because of many reasons and one is distributable component why...

well if Ejb is used because of many reasons and one is distributable component why cant we use servlets combined with jsp instead of ejb?
why are we going with a costlier environment when there is a cheaper environment such as jsp and servlets...?
Many go to Ejb because of it transction handling?
Any other advantage does ejb has over jsp/servlets..

You're basically asking "why use EJB's". This question is asked in this forum about once a week -- do a quick search and you'll find many instances of it. One place to find out some of the reasons is here.
