Well i have seen from many people that that application server is best and it is going on top.But I can not how they rate how they know they say it is most demandable.
Is there any standard to rate applicaiton server and any website that shows current position of the applicaiton servers that which is demandable most.
Thanks

Some of the criterion used for rating include
  • Compliance with J2EE specs.
  • How fast the vendor can implement new specs.
  • Value added features - those beyond what the spec calls for.
  • Support for clustering.
  • Ease of use - deployment, maintenance, configurability etc.
  • Integrated platforms - portal server, web server etc everything bundled into an unified platform.
  • Performance metrics.
  • Market visibility.
