cann't find javax.ejb in jdk1.4

i have installed jdk1.4 and set the classpath and path variables but when i try to compile following code
import java.rmi.RemoteException;
import java.rmi.Remote;
import javax.ejb.*;
public interface Demo extends EJBObject, Remote {

public String demoSelect() throws RemoteException;
it shows me the error that the peckage javax.ejb doesn't exist and cann't resolve the symbol EJBObject.
will somebody help me that y i m getting that errors and how can i get rid of them.

EJB is not part of J2SE, it is part of J2EE. All Application Servers come with a copy of the J2EE classes, you just have to know where to look.
What Application Server are you using?
