I need to know what the java developpers community thinks of Freelance work in the IT field especially software developpement with the java technology.
Is classic work within physical organizations better than working online with outsourcing companies ?
Can a Freelancer earn a decent living with only individual freelance work ? What level should he/she reach to be able to earn a comfortable living ? finally do you know some Good online freelance IT service provider ? can you share your comments and ideas about this topic. Thanking you
for last unclear issue you mentioned..what i mean is that i'm still not satisfied with my skills in Java technology although i have gone a long way inside (servlets, jsp, core java..etc)...My objective is to become a real java guru so i could get better job opportunities. Can you give me some advices on how to realize this dream ( java guru).
I feel i'm going slowly on the learning curve. I'm studying alone without academic assistance and I'm not part of any developper team from which i can gain some real experience.
Well i do feel i crossed the begginer level in java and stepped into intermediate and some advanced stuff ; but still not satisfied ...and my earnings from freelance work is really very low at this time.
Important note : I was obliged to go for freelance form of work because of some health problems that made me uncapable to integrate social life.
I would like some advice and help from your part guys.
