when ejbRemove is called?

When ejbRemove is called in case of entity beans, is it necessary to call
ctx.getPrimaryKey() to get the primary key for deleting the records.
Cant we use the instance fields(one or some of which are primary key to the table) present in the bean in the delete SQL statement.

If your bean is BMP, you can just use the instance fields.

In CMP container does the job for you.
