EJBDeploy - delete with no primary key

I am using WebSphere WSAD v5 to develop and deploy to WAS v4.0.
I would like to use Ant for a one-click build process, which I have coded and working -- except -- EJBDeploy throws the exception:
"delete with no primary key"
My primary key was defined in WSAD v5 GUI. The primary key specs appear normal in the resulting XML/XMI.
Any ideas?
