Hi, I want to know wat access modifiers can be used at different levels in an EJB class(Session/Entity or Message Driven) in: 1. Class declaration 2. Method definition 3. Global and Local variables Which of the access modifiers are not allowed by EJB specification and why? Any help is appreciated... Thanks.

Take a look at the following sections of the EJB specification (v2.1): 7.11 - The Responsibilities of the Bean Provider (SB) 10.3.1 - The Entity Bean Provider's Programming Contract 10.6 - Responsibilities of the Enterprise Bean Provider (EB) 15.7 - The Responsibilities of the Bean Provider (MDB)
