Welcome to the Ranch Mac Dave! You'll find this forum a great place to seek help on JSP pages, and there aren't many rules you'll have to worry about, but one is that proper names are required. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and change your display name to match it. In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious. Thanks! bear JSP Forum Bartender

With regards to my name; really is Mac Dave and regards to yours: "Bear Bibeault" please check the relevant pages for proper names. And in regard to my question, can you guys comment on how to integrate JBoss + JAAS + Servlet for Authentication and Authorization; The question props from my efforts to make these two work. The farthest I have gotten is as follows; LDAPLoginModule = works well and authenticates as required. ejb-jar = method permissions work well web.xml = However despite proper security-domain does not restrict web-collection according to url-pattern; meaning somehow roles are not being processes as they should in a declarative security setting. Or whatever.
