browser(applet, servlet,.....), application(RMI, CORBA, EJB,...) whoever sends request; is always a client and entertainer (who provides the service) is called server or server object.
e.g. If one EJB1 is requesting (invoking method (requesting service)) to other EJB2; EJB1 is client (client object) & EJB2 is server (server object).
