Hi,

I just wanted to know if any of you guys had any idea about telecom projects in T-Systems pune. What kind of work they do, is it development or systems integration...

I have got an offer from T-Systems and was thinking on the above lines to make my decision.

Thanks,
Atmesh

You should ask this question to your project manager. Even if somebody says they do some xyz work in there, you are not sure that you are going to get that work when you join. Its always better to ask your prospective project manager what sort of project they are hiring you for and what kind of work you'll be doing.

Generally in the interviews, the technical members talk about the natue of work but its quite different when one joins the organization.

I wanted to know if any one of us is working in the telecoms domain for T-Systems and to know the actual nature of work.

I think you should make things clear about the work contents from your project manager. Ofcourse this applies only if they have recruited you for project specific requirement and not general recruitment drive.

Hi Rajesh,

I work in the telecom domain, mostly on the IP side, normally use C, C++ and java for the interface applications.

I know T-Systems pune is based on the global service delivery model where they work on all domains, just wanted to know if anyone is working on the telecoms domain.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
