Oracle DBA certifications have two levels, as far as I remember.
OCA and OCP.

OCA - SQL + Fundamentals 1
OCP - Fundamentals 2 + Performance Tuning

PL/SQL certifications are different. You should check up Oracle.com for the exact details.

These certifications are good if you plan to make a career as a Oracle DBA.
I think you should give yourself 1-2 months for each paper if you're working full time.

You can take the SQL and the PL/SQL exam, since these topics are fairly generic and apply to other db vendors too.

There are no 'DW certifications' - and having one wouldn't make you a skillful DW architect. So the best advice I can give is find a job in that area, work hard and get on-hands experience.

All the best,
Amit

Karthik,

A personal advice from my side :

Please dont waste your time and money on Certifications as they are of zero value and importance for an experienced guy!! What matters is your efficiency at your work.

Warm Regards, S.Iyer

OCP Training in India does not cost much - just few thousands rupees - contact Oracle for their training partner. SQL Star Intl. may help.
