This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Hi there! I have to design an application where the client and the server communicates by sending asynchronous messages to each other. The client will not wait for the answer of the server, an doesn't care how long it takes to accomplish the request. There are few hundered clients. The size of the response messages, sent from the server to the client(s), may vary from few bytes to hundreds of kilobytes, and in some extreme cases they can be few megabytes (very rare). So there will be hundreds of large (n times 100Kb) messages in the queue at the same time. Is an average JMS provider suitable for this type of traffic? Or will it crash? How will it perform?
I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
