Hi
Currently I have been working on ejb where all are SLSB are on 1 app server. Our .ear file comprises of few .jar files & we deploy on 1 app server.
Say if i have an architecture where say my slsb are deployed on 1 app and Entity beans on another app server. where my slsb on app1 invokes a method on entity beans of app2.
How do we deploy this. I am quite inquisitive to know. I have never worked on this. We have till know been using a collocated architecture.
Is it that there is 1 .ear file which has the .jar files for both the SLSB and the Entity beans to be deployed on different app servers. If thats the case how to specify the ip address of the app servers where to deploy & where do we actually start teh deployment on app1 or app2.
Or is that for deploying 2 ejbs on 2 different app servers we need to use 2 .ear files & deploy them separately.
Kindly post some links where i can find help on the above
