health care certifications

does anyone know of any certifications that are in place in the health care domain .i am told that companies like ibm. makes it compulsary for their employees to undergo such certifications.

what are the market value of such certifications??

I know atleast a couple of certifications.
1 HL7 Certification
2 Certification on DICOM (Not sure who offers this)

Whether it brings any real value to your resume depends on your company and the line you are into (Functional/Technical)

If you are a functional guy then yes it is obvious that may have to clear certification. If you are a techie then it looks better on your resume and you can crack a job with a top-notch company if they have openings in Healthcare.

Thats my opinion on it
