Thanks for the replies !! Hello to the one in Antwerp ! I live in Merksem.
I am sorry if I am not using the UBB code.
The problem is that I am studying commercial engineer. I don't know much about java and jsp programming. My graduation paper should be ready this thursday.
I am almost sure that the code is 99 % right. The only question I have is whether the method to count for the average of the salaries is correct and whether all the necessary methods in the home and remote interface are there. I am sorry that some of the code is in dutch. Therefore, I try to give a translation:
gemiddelde = average
naam = surname
voornaam = name
bereken = calculate
The calculate method calculates the average of the salaries.
The error I get is in the deloytool of the SDK J2EE 1.4. When I try to save the file, it says 'sax error, premature end of file'. Then the application closes and I can not reopen the application.
Another error I got with another aplication is the following. I get this error when I try to run the application in the browser.
HTTP Status 500 -
type Exception report
description The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.
org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP
No Java compiler was found to compile the generated source for the JSP.
This can usually be solved by copying manually $JAVA_HOME/lib/tools.jar from the JDK
to the common/lib directory of the Tomcat server, followed by a Tomcat restart.
If using an alternate Java compiler, please check its installation and access path.
sun.reflect.GeneratedMethodAccessor71.invoke(Unknown Source)
java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke($ Method)

note The full stack trace of the root cause is available in the Sun-Java-System/Application-Server-PE-8.0 logs.

I can not find the solution suggested, because I can not find the installation directory of the tomcat server. I have installed the SDK J2EE 1.4. I guess this has its own web server, but I can not find the directory.
Thanks for all your time !! Appreciated !! I really hope I can finish this.
