If you are looking for a long term career then I would suggest i-flex is better choice.

i-Flex has both divisions i.e. Services as well as Product development. Just confirm if you are being recruited for product development or services division.

If you wish to build a career in financial services sector the i-Flex may be a better choice. I guess T-Systems Pune is more into telecom so if you wish to enter into telecom then T-Systems may be good.

Now coming to a decision on Product vs Services

On the product development, you have a good chance of experimenting with new technologies, learning new things and using your creativity. You generally don't see the useless pressure from managers. The disadvantage may be lack of onsite opportunities in Product oriented group.

If you enter services division then you can expect onsite opportunities but at the same time, you must understand that the technology you work on is typically dictated by client so you may be working on a proprietary frameworks (which may not be used in anypart of the world other than the clients place). The second disadvantage being you will have a lot of paper work in the name of standards and documentation.

So finally it boils down to "Should I learn" or "Should I earn"

Cheers and good luck

Let me provide one more Input

If you join Products division in any company, the product division will have 2 groups, one working on the core product and one would be services for the product.

Say you get an order for implementing the product for X bank.
There would be new requirements /enhancements which need to be bulit in the core product. This is done by the services group of the Product team.

Typically tsys should have beaten IFlex by some way w.r.t. salary. You may want to renegotiate the offer.

Hi,

#Product vs Services
learning is in both.In product companies in india bug fixing is more but in project you get the chance to do new code and learn new technology.from this perspective t-sys seems good..
and for work in product companies in java field is mainly on swing thats I dont think much innovative work.. if you are in c,c++ then working on product is really challanging and innovative.

#Onsite
t-sys may be have only initial/short term onsite to germany.I-flex may have better options in service.. but in product division I think no onsite

#pay wise
t-sys will pay more..

#doamin
for finance iflex +
for telecom t-sys +
