Hi everyone , i want to ask question about

How to go to work to USA?
Is it possible for me to go to work at USA for 1-2 years?
What i have to do?
How much salary i will get for approximately?
...

Because i want to practice my English over there and to utilize my experience in J2EE field. So let me introduce myself for a little.

I am just 22 years old. I am Asian(still leave in Asian). I got Toeic score 715 point.I already get SCJP(90%) and SCWCD(91%). I got experience in J2ee for about 2 years. Work that i have done is about Java(J2EE: Servlet&JSP),Hibernate, JDBC ,SQL (SQL Server and Oracle Server) ,Html ,C ,JavaScript ,ASP

ps. i already got Social Security Number because i used to work at USA for a waiter when i paticipate in Work&Travel program at USA.

Thanks for any suggestion

You need a valid work-related Visa unless you want to stay in the US in unlawful status.

What i have to do?

Contact an Indian body shopper who will take care of the paperworks for you (i.e., forging your resume and paystubs, etc.)

$20,000 - $40,000 per year.

Because i want to practice my English over there

Enroll in an ESL program.

Jay,

This is a forum for professional developers. If you can't behave in a professional manner, you should not be participating in this forum. I do not want to have to tell you again.

Anyone know answer for this? How many years of experience is the least that youve seen that have successfully acquired an h1b sponsorship? How many years of experience usually do they look for?

Only when you do not have the correct degree ,then your experience counts.
Generally they look for BS in Computer science. In case you do not have this degree , you might need to show 4-5 years of work experience.
One of my friends got H1B with 2 months of work experience.

Thanks for the reply. Is that 2 months, pure and honest; no hanky panky going on? (stuff like your body shop will put 2 years on your resume and show it to the client?)

How does it work? This company in India finds a 'permanent' employer for you in USA? And eventually, your employer will be that one in USA?

Infosys counterpart in USA? Like e.g. a USA-registered Infosys sister company in USA?

If not, it is not H1B is it? It is a different type of visa right?

Many a time the engineers will need to work at the client site, and not in any facility owned by the sponsoring company. And companies like Infosys typically sponsor H1 visas for their own projects, nor for sending them to third party companies. Intra company transfer visas (L1) are also used when they have a registered office onsite.

I think that is true, for US-registered companies. But not for foreign companies; they cannot sponsor H1. I think Infosys has its own us-based counterpart, which does the h1 sponsorship. And so there it goes.
