Hi All,
This question is nothing but request/response paradigm.
We often send request and get response.
That means server allways send response of the comming request.
Is it possible that server send some notification kind of thing
without sending request.

Thanx in advance -

I'm working with a vendor framework that includes an applet which opens a serversocket. The applet registers its identity and address with the EJB server. The EJB server can open a socket and send a message to the applet. This lets us pop work to the browser with no request from the browser. Is that what you mean?

My client is basically a java- swing application.
It sit ideally and wating some notification that will come from server.
Server send this notification when any south born interface will send some triggered based
event to the server and the n server send this notification to the java0-swing client.

So I my problem is bassically this.
