Exactly when does the EJB container managing CMP beans commit the data to the database. Is there any method call in EJB that is used for performing commit to the database ?

Thanks in advance.

Sankar.

Hi,
If there is no exception thrown the container will issue a commit. If it encountered any error then we need to call setRollbackOnly() to rollback the transaction.

Sawan
