Configuring J2EE Server

i have installed j2ee 1.3 server but unable to make it run.
I have set java_home, j2ee_home and set the path to bin of both jdk and j2ee.
But when i write
j2ee -verbose
on the command prompt, it gives the following error

No local string for j2ee.listenPort
J2EE server listen port: 1050
