What should be the hourly rate for a Java Consultant with 5-7 years experience in USA, east coast.

How much an offshoring consultant should be paid?

Please refrain repeating your question your question, even in the same thread, as explained here.

We have lots of other useful tips for asking questions on JavaRanch as well.

Around $55 on C-C basis. $50 on W2 is the current trend.

What a wonderful world!

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
