How can i do migration from EJB 1.1 code to EJB 2.0 code for local interface ? whether EJB container takes care (or) re-write the code (or) deployment descriptor change ?

Kri,
You need to update the code and the deployment descriptor. In particular, the code needs to implement EJBLocalHome and EJBLocalObject. Some IDEs take care of this for you.
