Private Message Problem?

Hi...

I have being sending quite a private messages to Ranchers and noticed that they go unread for days. Could you guys please do something about it where the user once logged in can get a "New Private message!" message displayed!

That would be really helpful!

Well, they may be unread on the Saloon page, but if you have entered an email address in your profile, then a copy of the PM is sent via email as well. So the message may in fact have been read (via email), just not through the web site.

As an aside, some ranchers may choose not to respond to PMs, even though they have PMs turned on. If it is questions you're sending, those are better posted to the forums, so that everybody can see them.

Private messages i sent are not of the interest of other ranchers around so i just send them in particular so that it does not waste time of others.

Popping a new private message if arrived was a suggestion.

But isn't that exactly what the email is? If a Rancher is ignoring the email, they're probably going to ignore the pop-up.
