Person is looking for Company in Pune which works on Webservices and me, being resident of Pune & knowing that their is one company which works on it extensively, just tried to help her. I posted the link just to ensure she goes to website and reads what they claim and contact HR for further details. I don't think I gave any opinion which could mis-lead her or lead Javaranch into trouble.
I understand the policy and support it as well. And to be honest I don't think policy was originally desinged to stop the kind of reply I made. I feel the purpose was something different. Following rules is good, following them blindly is a disaster.
Nevertheless, if moderators feel my post is incorrect they can edit my post.
P.S. One suggestion I would give it to you is if you feel any post is inappropriate, best way is to PM moderator(s) about it. Writing in the
thread itself is kinda redundant, since by the time Moderators will read your message, chances are high that they would have read my message and replied to it.
