After the upgrade to javaranch a few weeks ago, I noticed that at Singapore time 7pm to 11pm when I am home, it takes time to load forum pages, up to 5 or more seconds.

Before I go to work at 7am to 8am, it is fast.

Just want to share.

I've noticed the same here in Japan. Fast in the morning, really heavy in the evening.

But unless Shri is not in India, we all are in Asia. We are probably within 4 hours by air from each other.

I wonder if that break in Taiwan link a few months/weeks ago still is lingering around.

You are probably just seeing the effects of the extra load at our peak traffic times. Click on the picture right at the bottom of the page and you can see the stats.

I'm in India. This morning it was ok. But now just for replying to this post it took more than 2 minutes for me.
