Invoking Secure EJBs from Client App

All,

I have a remote EJB running on websphere. I'm trying to invoke it from a client program. It works fine. (I'm using Sun's com.sun.jndi.cosnaming.CNCtxFactory as the initial context factory).

Now, if i enable role based security for the ejb, how do i authenticate against the ejb server from the client ? Supplying the username & password in the JNDI lookup from the client does not work.

Now I am trying to do JAAS.

Now, even if i give it a jaas.config file, using the -Djava.security.auth.login.config=%APP_HOME%/conf/jaas.config where do i specify the server name and port for it to use for JAAS login?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
