Hi Folks,Please say your suggestion and opinions.I have around 2.8 years of experience and I am looking for a job switch.I prepared well for the interviews but unfortunately I made some mistakes in my written tests and interview and so got rejected. Now am feeling bad.Can I apply to those companies again. How will they look at my resume.?Will my prior interview and test details be stored in their database.I prepared well but somehow messed up things at the right moment. Please give your suggestions? After how many days can I apply again. What usually is the norm?
Since I got rejected once will they again look at me in a positive way.?Any of you have any such experience please share it with me.My hopes now looks shattered.

Dinesh take it positive from your failure and move on to next step. I guess many companies restrict you from 6 months to 1 year if you had appeared their interview process. Try to analyse what mistakes you did and how you can come out from those mistakes, take it as experience for next interview. There are lot of other good companies and try for them. If you are rejected means there might be lot of reasons for rejection and it is not just because you do not qualify. Remember every one will have their own skills, and some skills will be useful for a company and many not be useful for other company.

For next interview if you know there will be written test be prepare and write with confidence. Try to solve some SCJP exams which will helpful not do mistakes in your next exam.

Wish you good luck

It looks like the company which interviewed me will again be recruiting again. Is it Ok to attend the written test and interview of the same company again after 3 weeks?
Do the companies really maintain a database of the people interviewed?
Is this policy different between each company.?
In case if they specifically ask if I had given an interview with them previously but if I lie and say No.Then if I get selected will there be problems later.?Your experience and views please.?

Yes some companies maintains database. Yes policy will be different from one company to another company. Some companies will allow you to attend for other department if you are not qualified in one department. If you are selected means you are selected, there wont be any problems. But I do not feel telling a lie is good.
